History
It was founded since the war days in 1930 and called Principal Port Officer. Before that, it was called Nautical Adviser & Principal Port Officer, Merchant Department.

Online Departure, Visa and Arrival Reporting Serivce
Since December 2015, we have been working with over 160 SRPS companies for issuing departure and visa document online. With strong collaboration of SRPS companies, we are going to introduce arrival reporting service online in coming January 2016.
Online COC/COP Verification Service
We have prepared for providing online COC/COP verification service. As it is in beta released stage, we expect to commence the serivce in first quarter of 2016
